We currently have rrdtool 1.0.48 in ThinLinc. That was released 20 years ago. We should upgrade to a current version to get bug fixes and new features.

Works well. Tested:

 * It can create a new database

 * It can update the database

 * It renders everything correctly

 * It can use an existing database without data loss
