Description William Sjöblom cendio 2024-10-04 16:01:20 CEST
It may be the case that we or someone else want to deploy a hosted ThinLinc solution where we want to circumvent the 10 free user licenses in preference for unlimited concurrent users. In such a setup, we would use some monetization scheme other than our license based model, for example:

- Taking a cut from the monthly hosting fee
- Invoicing the hosting company based on collected ThinLinc usage statistics

Either way, it is not obvious how we best circumvent the license system for use cases like this. Issuing an ordinary "unlimited" license is problematic as a malicious user may simply steal the license file and use it somewhere else.
