When thinlinc-server is installed, it adds three shortcuts: * ThinLinc Setup * ThinLinc Web Access * ThinLinc Web Administration By default, these are also shown for all users inside their sessions. The shortcuts are also installed on agent-only machines in a cluster. At best, they are a convenient shortcut for a first-time ThinLinc admin. At worst, they are confusing and might make a non-admin user to try to use tl-setup or Web Admin. They might also trick an inexperienced admin to try to log in to Web Access from an agent-only machine (see bug 7464), or to use Web Admin from an agent-only machine (see bug 8380). It is also highly questionable what the shortcut to Web Access is attempting to achieve? The shortcut appears on ThinLinc servers for users in their desktop environment. The server's desktop is normally viewed through ThinLinc, why would you need to open Web Access inside a ThinLinc session? In desktops like MATE or XFCE, our shortcuts appear under the menu “System Tools”. But in GNOME they don't have menus, so the shortcuts appear like any other app in the app-overview. This overview often does not allow long names, which means the shortcuts only show “ThinLinc …”. This makes them annoying and difficult to use from GNOME. All in all, these shortcuts are likely not worth keeping.
