Ubuntu 19.04 is out, let's check how it works.
19.04 is available in both a Desktop and Server version. We have decided to go for the Server version, which is possibly optimized for bigger systems (suitable kernel etc). Also, fewer packages are installed, which means we will test more of our package installer. I've done a basic installation in text mode. Had to add CUPS using: sudo apt-get install cups Besides this, the installation passed with flying colors. After installation, I executed: sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop This gave me two profile choices: Ubuntu Desktop GNOME Desktop Both works fine.
