Description Peter Åstrand cendio 2013-06-24 09:47:34 CEST
The web administration interface has a module called "VSM". If you are new to ThinLinc, you might not know what VSM means. Perhaps it would be better to spell out "Session Manager" or something similar.

We should also consider if we really should group the master and agent together. Perhaps it is clearer if they are both on the top level.
Comment 2 Emelie cendio 2024-10-03 11:22:50 CEST
Perhaps the Subclusters page can be under Master, and both Master and Agent should be at top level.

Makes sense to do this now together with bug 280.

Done.

It was renamed to "Services" and no longer contains subcluster config, which was moved to the new Cluster module.

> * Documentation must be updated
It was.
Comment 9 Tobias cendio 2025-04-23 09:28:51 CEST
Tested this using server build #4011 on Fedora41 with Firefox137. Went through the updated pages on tlwebadm and corresponding documentation. Things look perfectly fine – cannot find any missed instances of VSM or strange artefacts.

In addition, the release notes have been updated to notify of this change.

> MUST
> * The VSM module in Web Administration must be re renamed or removed
✅ The VSM module page has been renamed to services.
> * Documentation must be updated
✅ Check.

Closing.
