When starting the client in full screen on KDE, I often get a light gray screen instead of the remote session. This window is also unresponsive, so I have to switch to another terminal and forcefully kill the client.

Seen on KDE 6 on Fedora 41, using Wayland.

The fix for bug 8199 seems to drastically reduce the risk of this happening. But it still happened once during my testing.

I have not been able to reproduce the issue when toggling in to full screen, only when starting in full screen.
