Description William Sjöblom cendio 2025-01-13 11:18:02 CET
In the "Installing the ThinLinc server" chapter of the TAG, we have a section
"External access behind NAT":

  https://www.cendio.com/resources/docs/tag/install_install.html#external-access-behind-nat

This section made sense when tl-setup did not force assignment of /vsmagent/agent_hostname. Now when tl-setup both describes and handles the assignment of /vsmagent/agent_hostname, this whole section is mainly a source of confusion.
Comment 1 William Sjöblom cendio 2025-01-13 11:19:17 CET
Moreover, this section also uses "tl-setup" to refer to "ThinLinc setup". Using the command name (without proper formatting) as a noun in this sense is internal jargon and should not be used in the TAG.
Comment 2 William Sjöblom cendio 2025-01-13 11:35:29 CET
It is important that these introductory chapters are slim and concise to make initial installation of ThinLinc as easy as possible.
Comment 3 Samuel Mannehed cendio 2025-01-14 11:08:16 CET
Note that the tl-setup page in question links to this chapter in the TAG. This needs to be considered if removing or reworking the TAG chapter.
