I am adding the vsmagent log. Could this be the issue?

I will also note that standard ssh through the terminal will connect from the client to the host machine running Ubuntu 20.04

I'm unable to reproduce this on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04 and ThinLinc 4.15.0.

Something has probably been installed in your user's environment that prevents a session from starting correctly.

General support is not the scope of our Bugzilla, I'd advise continuing the conversation at https://community.thinlinc.com instead.
