While GNOME 3 will work under ThinLinc, it often does so with poor performance, due to it being a compositing desktop. Most major distributions are now installing GNOME 3 by default, which means this is the desktop which people will get when trying out ThinLinc for the first time. In order to improve first impressions, we should consider removing GNOME 3 as a default profile in ThinLinc.
