Some users might want to disable this feature and pan the session as they need the space on their remote desktop.
Web access users with small devices are likely more interested in disabling remote resize since many desktop environments are not designed to run well with tiny resolutions.
We've removed this option from the native client (bug 7793) as we don't see any meaningful use cases for it. As such, there is nothing here to reach feature parity with. What is interesting though is that web access might be used from very small devices (e.g. phones), where having a session the size of the local screen starts becoming a practical problem. So let's realign this bug to focus on that specific use case.
