Beta 1 of RHEL8 was released in November 2018. The real release will likely follow in a near future. We should test ThinLinc on this platform and document any issues.

Briefly tested GNOME:

* No terminal on right-click menu :-(
* Performance is pretty good.
* Somewhat unstable. Hangs if trying to drag application to desktop

Note: To install GNOME, I followed this guide:

This means:

# dnf group install Workstation
# systemctl set-default graphical

Also tested gnome-classic. Works.

I cannot find any additional desktop environments at this point. EPEL is not available.

* Sound playback/recording: OK
(* Serial ports: not tested)
* Local Drives: OK
* Local Printer: OK
* Smart Card Reader: OK

Tested additional components:

* tlwebadm: OK
* tlwebaccess: OK
* Basic OpenGL (glxgears): OK
