Description Samuel Mannehed cendio 2018-05-14 16:14:43 CEST
We have decided to remove the concept of "recommended distributions" since it has caused confusion among customers. All server-platform that fulfills our requirements (https://www.cendio.com/resources/docs/tag-devel/html/requirements_server.html) are supported as always, but we will simply no longer distinguish a subset of these by recommendations.

Acceptance criteria:

* The documentation should no longer suggest that certain distributions work better than others

* The installer should no longer complain when installing on a supported, but not recommended, distribution

Should be all done now, ready for verification.

Note that we have decided to not mention this change in the release notes for 4.10.0.
Comment 5 Pierre Ossman cendio 2018-05-21 09:03:51 CEST
Tested an installation on Fedora 27 and got no warnings. The requirements section of the TAG also looks fine.

Could not find any remaining references to tested platforms in the source tree.
