Description Karl Mikaelsson cendio 2017-12-14 17:21:16 CET
A PulseAudio sound backend was added to rdesktop during the 1.8.4 cycle. The code has been vendordropped into ThinLinc. In ThinLinc, we build rdesktop with only the OSS sound backend enabled. We ought to build the PulseAudio backend, and maybe stop using the OSS backend in ThinLinc.

I'm not sure what benefits this would give us right now, apart from better integration with PulseAudio in general. No more relying on padsp for sound?

rdesktop (and associated tools) is being removed from the ThinLinc product.
