When downloading rpm package from www.cendio.com and open it by clicking on the package, gnome-software is launched and presents following dialog message:

     Sorry, this did not work
    The file is not supported.

             [ Close ]

Reproducible with 4.7.0 client downloaded from www.cendio.com on a Fedora 25 Workstation

gnome-software-3.22.5-1.fc25, libappstream-glib-0.6.7-2.fc25 has been pushed to the Fedora 25 testing repository.

Works well with gnome-software-3.22.5-1 and libappstream-glib-0.6.7-3 which are both available in the normal fedora updates repo now.
