Description Henrik Andersson cendio 2016-06-03 08:04:14 CEST
When testing printing lemon jelly (see attachment) using evince within a Thinlinc session both rasterized by cairo or left for printer to render. The small image in first row with black background and white drawings is inverted, eg. white background and black foreground.

Seems to only to be reproducible when mangle the document through evince. However it appears pretty randomly and no patterns are found. See following cases which renders the graphic inverted:

1. RHEL7->Evince->pfdtocairo->"HP LaserJet 500 color MFP M570dn UPD PS"
   The image is not rasterized by cairo which means the printer get confused on
   how to render this graphics.used how to render the image. However this case is
   not consistently reproducing the issue.

2. RHEL7->Evince->pdftocairo->"HP LaserJet 500 color MFP M570 PCL6"
   This is with pdftocairo built using cairo 1.15.2. The whole document is
   rasterized by pdftociaro before sent to printer so here, cairo is confused.
   Also note that when using pdftocairo built with cairo 1.14.6 (our standard)
   there is no issue.
