Document which variant of English we should use somewhere?
Comment 2 Pierre Ossman cendio 2022-04-26 09:14:05 CEST
American English is almost always the default language in computing, so we should follow the norm. At least in user visible parts. en_GB would be considered a translation.

The difficult part is how we check for this. Ideally automatically so we can avoid future issues.

As part of bug 7945, the TAG exclusively use American English now. There are probably other parts of the product that will need the same treatment though, so I'm leaving this bug open for now.
