Description Aaron Sowry cendio 2012-08-27 14:59:59 CEST
For example, after entering an administrative email address in tl-setup, one can't simply press enter to move forward. The button does appear highlighted, though.

This bug is annoying.

Fixed in commit r38455 as part of bug 7902.
Comment 3 Tobias cendio 2022-05-24 16:35:50 CEST
Ran tests on Fedora36 and Ubuntu 22.04, using dev builds #2655 (missing bug correction) and #2657 (with bug correction).

The entry fields in tl-setup are behaving as expected prior to and after the bug correction.

Build #2655 presented entry fields that were not initially focused, and having typed something into the fields followed by pressing the RETURN key did not activate the Forward button.

Conversely, build #2657 presented entry fields which were focused with highlighted text if it was a reinstall using an earlier configuration. The RETURN key correctly connected to the Forward button with focus being on the entry field.

This bug is regarded as fixed.
