Description Henrik Andersson cendio 2012-02-10 10:15:25 CET
Gnome shell does not have and traditional application menu
which TLDC relies upon, it does have same kind of new fancy
"lens" approach as Unity for searching / starting application.

We need to investigate how we could apply customization made
using TLDC on a gnome shell desktop.

See bug 5370, our TAG claims that TLDC supports gnome.
Comment 4 Samuel Mannehed cendio 2021-08-05 16:58:08 CEST
A note about GNOME Shell not working with TLDC was added as part of bug 5370. Supporting GNOME Shell in TLDC was not investigated.
