Noticed this on Sunray, the Solaris 10 lab machine. The pulseaudio binary from the client exits early due to a failed assertion. Result: no sound on Solaris clients. # pkginfo -l CENDthinlincclient PKGINST: CENDthinlincclient NAME: ThinLinc client CATEGORY: application ARCH: sparc VERSION: 3.2.0-3125 BASEDIR: / VENDOR: Cendio DESC: ThinLinc client INSTDATE: aug 08 2011 13:04 HOTLINE: http://www.cendio.com EMAIL: Peter Åstrand <astrand@cendio.se> STATUS: completely installed FILES: 41 installed pathnames 3 shared pathnames 14 directories 13 executables 18282 blocks used (approx) # /opt/thinlinc/lib/tlclient/pulseaudio -n --use-pid-file=false -L module-esound-protocol-tcp listen=127.0.0.1 port=32898 cookie='/tmp/esd_baiUh'" -L "module-native-protocol-tcp listen=127.0.0.1 port=32899 cookie='/tmp/pulseaudioacaiUh'" -L module-solaris --log-level=debug Assertion failed: r == 0, file daemon/main.c, line 357, function main Avbryt (core dumped)
This bug might have been solved by bug 3222.
Should work now, will confirm during QA testing.
Works great, tested both Youtube and paplay.
