It would be helpful to provide the user with a file selection dialogue, for example when selecting an icon file in TLDC. Currently they have to write in the whole path manually.

There's no browse functionality for the icon even in the old GUI. This is perhaps because you can also specify icons using short names rather than absolute paths. Browse would be useful for application commands, though.
