During fix of bug 2898, we added a simple mechanism for reporting export aliases to the server. The server uses the alias as mount point, instead of the real name. Currently, this is only used with the MyDocuments export. We could allow for the user to enter arbitrary aliases for each export. This might be a solution for the problem with, say, the CD having different names on different clients. See also bug 2871.
