Description Erik Forsberg cendio 2006-05-04 12:23:06 CEST
Thinstation 2.1 lacks the dirname binary, which means we have to use some
special hacks to run the client. Currently, /bin/thinlinc and
/bin/thinlinc-console sets TLCLIENT_PREFIX and runs tlclient.bin directly
instead of using the ordinary 'tlclient' script. Also, the tlcontrol script is
adapted to use TLCLIENT_PREFIX.

Miles Roper has promised that dirname will be in Thinstation 2.2rc2 (and I've
promised him some icecream if we meet, he says he'd like his with choc chips and
some nuts), which means that when TS 2.2 is released we can remove the
TS-specific hacks and make TS 2.2 a requirement for the ThinLinc thinstation
package.

TS 2.2 has been released as of 2006-10-16, so the prerequisites for this bug is
now in place.
