Neither PCM nor mixer will work in GStreamer when using the ALSA <-> Polypaudio
plug-in. No clues as to why this is.

The alsa plug-in got resutructured for Polypaudio 0.9.0 so we should first
retest with the version in hg.

Gstreamer has native pulseaudio support these days, which is good enough for us.
